MEGAN + DANIEL WEDDING
Why do you want your wedding captured on video?
We both love videography and reliving our vacations and special moments. We know we will miss a lot of the event being so busy so we can’t wait to have it live on forever.
Why did you pick me?
Your style!!!! It seems so authentic, captured real moments and didn’t look filtered or staged.
What do you do? How do you spend your days?..What’s important in life?
Megan is in sales. Daniel is an engineer. We live at the beach and spend any free time by the water. Daniel has a boat and lives to free dive, spear fish and surf. Megan is an avid reader and loves to sit at the beach. Together we prioritize our family and time together. We love being by the ocean, traveling and truly focusing on the little things in life and family time.
Megan and Daniels Mauna Kea Wedding.
Daniel had told Megan his mom was hosting a “fancy dinner party at home” due to quarantine. We both are very casual people as are our families. So this was odd. We both got dressed up, hair and makeup in covid quarantine! We headed to his parents house but Daniel wanted to stop at the beach and check the waves. Megan was nervous we’d be late to dinner. We walked out to the beach, Daniel “forgot the binoculars” in the car and Megan had to take her heels off. We walked onto the dunes and Daniel asked Megan if she could see Catalina island, or that boat out there, etc etc. then she looked behind her and noticed Daniel was on one knee and asked her to marry him. Daniel had hired photographers to capture it all (Megan loves photography) and we had a photo shoot on the beach. There was no dinner party at his parents! But we FaceTimed both our parents after and Megan’s grandma then went to in n out for burgers since california was shut down for indoor dining. Best proposal ever!
This venue? Why this place above anywhere else?
Megan has vacationed here for years with her family and has dreamed of this. Megan had cancer when she she was 18 and her parents took her to Hawaii to heal and it’s always been a very special place for her. Daniel fell in love with Hawaii when he joined Megan on a work trip in 2019 and we both agreed to a Hawaiian wedding.
